Challenges

Kaastel set out to fix how people in India buy, sell and rent property. The market it entered had four big problems:

  • Unverified Listings and Brokers: Property portals were full of outdated listings, duplicate ads and brokers nobody could vouch for, and paid placements decided what buyers saw first.
  • Wasted Site Visits: A few flat photos were not enough to judge a home, so buyers spent weekends travelling to properties that did not match the listing.
  • A Scattered Journey: Search, agent calls, site visits, home-loan maths and legal help all happened in different places, with no single platform tying them together.
  • Legacy Technology: The first version ran on an ageing Express/MySQL backend that was hard to extend, scale and secure as listings, tours and users grew.

Our Solution

KalKey designed and built Kaastel end to end: a verified listings website, iOS and Android apps, and an agent CRM, all running on one modern cloud backend.

Every listing is checked before it goes live, and partner agents carry a KYC or RERA badge on their profile, so buyers know exactly who they are dealing with.

The app guides agents through a 12-shot, AR-assisted capture that becomes a 360° room view. Navigation hotspots link room to room, and clickable floor plans let buyers walk a property from home.

AI writes the listing title, description and SEO meta from the details an agent enters. On the website, the Kassi AI assistant answers visitor questions, finds matching properties and books site visits.

Buyers and agents chat instantly over WebSockets, with push notifications for new enquiries, messages and verification status.

Buyers pick a bank such as HDFC, ICICI or SBI, see today’s interest rate, and know their real monthly EMI before they shortlist a single property.
